Guided Implant Surgery
When implants must sit with millimetre precision exactly where bone, nerves and aesthetics dictate, guided implant surgery comes into play. Using 3D CBCT data we plan digitally, manufacture an individual surgical guide and place the implant minimally invasively – often without the classic flap incision.
Guided implant surgery (also known as "navigated implantology") is a modern method for particularly precise planning and placement of dental implants. It combines digital 3D imaging, computer-assisted planning and a custom-made surgical guide – for a safe, gentle and predictable result.

Treatment process
- Digital 3D diagnosticsUsing a cone beam computed tomography scan (DVT/CBCT) we create an exact 3D model of your jaw.
- Virtual implant planningThe position, depth and orientation of the implants are planned on the computer – taking into account the available bone, the course of the nerves and aesthetic goals.
- Surgical guideBased on the planning, an individual guide is fabricated that precisely dictates where and how deep to drill during surgery.
- Implant placementWith the guide as a navigation aid, the implant is placed safely, minimally invasively and with maximum precision.
