Dental Assistant (m/f/d) with Surgical Experience
Surgical assisting in a specialist practice for oral surgery and implantology at Rosenthaler Platz, with modern 3D diagnostics and appointments that leave time for every patient.
We are a specialist practice for oral surgery and implantology right at Rosenthaler Platz in Berlin-Mitte. We do not offer general dentistry; surgery is our daily work.
For our treatment team we are looking for a dental assistant (ZFA) who has already assisted chairside in surgery and enjoys surgical precision. You work closely with our specialist oral surgeon and accompany patients from preparation through to follow-up.
Many of our patients arrive anxious. Alongside professional skill, a calm and dependable manner therefore matters a great deal to us.
Your responsibilities
- Assisting with oral-surgical and implantological procedures, from wisdom-tooth removal to bone grafting
- Preparing the surgical area, sterile working and instrument reprocessing to RKI standards
- Preparing platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) and assisting with treatments under sedation
- Taking digital radiographs and 3D CBCT scans on the Orthophos SL
- Caring for patients before, during and after the procedure, including aftercare guidance
- Appointment scheduling and practice administration, shared with the team
What you bring
- Completed training as a Zahnmedizinische Fachangestellte / dental assistant (m/f/d)
- Experience in surgical assisting, ideally in oral surgery, implantology or maxillofacial surgery
- Valid German radiography certificate (Röntgenschein), or willingness to obtain one promptly
- Diligence, hygiene awareness and a calm manner with anxious patients
- Very good written and spoken German; further languages are expressly welcome given our international patients
